Aston Martin has unveiled a concept car called the Dreadnought. The new car is a virtual model that exists only in the game and is positioned as a tactical SUV. Created by the brand design team in conjunction with Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision, the car will be launched as an exclusive vehicle for the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, and will be exhibited as a 1: 1 solid model at the Fanatics Fest event in New York, targeting gamers and car enthusiasts alike. Unlike the brand's conventional mass-produced models, Dreadnought was born in a virtual development environment with no physical manufacturing constraints. It is positioned as a tactical full-drive SUV. The design core integrates Aston Martin supercar performance genes, luxury interior technology and military-grade combat configurations. The physical characteristics of the entire vehicle are fully adjusted based on the world view of Modern Warfare games, taking into account visual recognition and in-game dynamic driving experience. The sound waves of the iconic V12 engine are also completely restored to the sound effects of the game. On the exterior side, the new car adopts a highly impactful tactical SUV body contour, the whole car is equipped with a fishbone braided carbon fiber shell, equipped with an optimized competitive aerodynamics package; the body is provided with the brand's classic Chiltern Green exclusive paint, and the door hinges are decorated with matte anodized golden metal parts. The vehicle is equipped with a military-grade armored protective structure. It is also equipped with an exclusive tactical kit such as a spare fuel tank and a customized weapons storage cabin. The name Dreadnought is derived from the English definition of "fearless". At the same time, it pays tribute to the British battleship HMS Dreadnought, which revolutionized the naval structure in the early 20th century, and strengthens the positioning of military tactical attributes. The interior retains the iconic craftsmanship of the Aston Martin luxury car. The dashboard and door panel are covered with Oxford brown leather and equipped with a metal gold gearshift mechanism. The vehicle is equipped with an integrated digital command and interaction system, which is the core carrier for the tactical and combat functions of the entire vehicle. Luxury handmade materials are in stark contrast to military armor and combat electronic equipment. It is also the core feature of this virtual model that distinguishes it from all of the brand's mass-produced SUVs. The design team used the real road scenarios as a reference when developing it to simulate the driving conditions of New York City roads, Mumbai's wet and slippery roads in the rainy season, etc., to ensure that the virtual vehicle vision and control texture are close to the real vehicle logic. The vehicle has the strongest four-wheel drive system and large-capacity fuel tank in the game. The power, armor and control have all been specially adjusted by the development team, taking into account the off-road maneuvering and front-end combat capabilities. From concept sketches, three-dimensional models, animation, physical power to weapon adaptation, the Aston Martin brand design team has jointly polished with Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision.
